Peshtemals are low-maintenance!  Wash them in cold or warm water with mild detergent.  Avoid fabric softeners, as they can reduce absorbency.   Tumble dry on low or hang to dry for best results.   The more you use and wash them, the softer they become.

If you would like to speed up the process, soak your peshtemal in cold water overnight and then wash as you normally would in the morning.
